Council Members
The Longville City Council is the governing body for our community. Elected council members, alongside the Mayor, work together to make decisions about city services, budgets, infrastructure, and local issues that matter to residents. Mayoral terms last 2 years and Council terms last 4 years. Elections for Mayor and City Council are held the 1st Tuesday of November in even numbered years.
The City Council meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. All Council Meetings are open to the general public.
Department Heads
Longville's department heads manage our city's daily operations. They oversee key areas like public works, finance, planning, and community services to keep our city running smoothly. These dedicated staff members work closely with the City Council to implement policies and deliver quality services, and they are available to assist residents with questions about city services, permits, and programs.
Feel free to contact the appropriate department any time you need help with something specific or whenever you need additional information from the city.
